Anybody could hear R&B music, just find the radio station that played it. But to see the dances that were being done, you had to go into the clubs, and at that time in America, not everybody could (or would) do that, for any number of reasons. But with Soul Train, there it was. For everybody, anywhere. It's not too big a leap to say that Soul Train changed the world.
