Gheorghe Posted December 1, 2020 Report Posted December 1, 2020 Some vintage hardbop from 1960. Bobby Timmons´ "Dat Dere" once was used for a commercial..... as I remember, but I don´t know for what Quote

Bluesnik Posted December 2, 2020 Report Posted December 2, 2020 Enjoying this light-hearted session of late Quebec. (I just read it was his last). With a brilliant Kenny Burrell. Very bluesy, but he also plays nylon strings. More according to Bossa. Quote
Justin V Posted December 2, 2020 Report Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) After finally getting around to Art Deco a few days ago after it had sat for 2 or 3 years in a pile waiting to be heard, I'm on a Cherry run today. I've listened to Art Deco, Symphony for Improvisers, Brown Rice and now this. I also spun Ornette's To Whom Who Keeps a Record and Charlie Haden's The Montreal Tapes, Vol. 2. Complete Communion and Jim Pepper's Comin' and Goin' have also seen play. While having a large collection means that albums can be neglected, it also makes binges possible.
