Joe
Excellent date, with Bailey sounding especially inspired. But a date which also raises a question. The title track is here credited to Bill Barron, but, on Yusef Lateef's THE CENTAUR AND THE PHOENIX, it is credited to Kenny Barron. What's the real story here? The lead track is called 'Polygamy' and discusses the pros and cons of it. Is that the only such song? MG Trying to find this - it isn't on the LP I have. It sounds pretty interesting. Probably my favourite Highlife album ever. If anyone has any others that they think win out, please let me know. I can always use more highlife in my life. Kevin Bresnahan
Ray Charles - The Genius After Hours (MFSL SACD). Ray playing some of his finest blues.
