Rabshakeh Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Lotte Anker, Sylvie Courvoisier and Ikue Mori - Alien Huddle (Intakt, 2008) Quote
mikeweil Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 (edited) An excellent reissue on BGO. Flawless remastering, complete original liner notes, a new essay including interview segments with Burton exclusively made for this reissue. The only thing missing are the exact recording dates. mjazzg Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 4Hero, Cinematic Orchestra...I hear a very British lineage to this one Quote
jazzbo Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 My wife slept late and I was able to listen at almost just the right volume to Angela Hewlitt playing Beethoven sonatas while reading the excellent liner notes to the new Hasaan Ibn Ali solo piano 2 cd set. A really nice hour. Then I snuck in half of this great Sunday morning listening before I had to rejoin the family: Barney Wilen, "French Ballads" 2021 cd. Quote

I'm sure you can play spot the sample but it deserves more than that I think Quote
