Yes, totally agree.  Oscar Peterson was really good on the 1975 and 1977 Pablo Montreux recordings.

Yes, you're right. She was born in Mocambique, in Lourenco Marques, a city I know as we would vacation there when we lived in Swaziland. Then as a child moved to Lisbon.

I think I was confused because this album was recorded in Brazil and the only other one that I have of hers was arranged and heavily partcipated within by Brazilian master cellist Jacques Morelenbaum.

Finally spinning this one.

Overall the sound is a bit inconsistent and could be better. But the music is not going to disappoint (or at least did not disappoint me!)
