Nice session. Redman and McBride appear on a few tracks.

Very nice date for sure. I bought the limited edition tri-colored vinyl version from bandcamp when it came out. The vinyl is sold out but the CD is still available for $10.50 (including shipping to Maine): https://waltersmithiii-whirlwind.bandcamp.com/album/twio

I'm in the UK and my last order for an an stock Whirlwind LP title took 2 months!

Their excuse was that they warehouse and ship from southern Europe where the extreme heat meant it wasn't safe to ship LPs. I called that the BS it most surely was

Yes, strictly CDs and downloads from them from now on

It was actually a Harish Raghavan that your enthusiastic post about prompted the purchase. The album is good which was a consolation, delayed satisfaction

May ard Ferguson - M.F. Horn Two

Ferguson's one of those guys who looks absolutely enormous in contemporaneous discourse and in historical recollection, but who makes no appearance in history books.

I still struggle with all the squealing, but it's a pretty good record. What an ugly cover, though.

I like #4&5 much better though, as I assume most people do.
