This 1956 recording is his only album as leader. Though he did record 4 tracks in the 40's with Bud Powell. Wonder why he recorded no additional sessions as leader. Frank was a good tenor player in the style of Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, Allen Eager, Brew Moore, Getz, etc. He spent many years and recorded in a number of big bands over 3 decades. Quote
