Rabshakeh Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Pussy Galore – Exile On Main St I remember in the pre internet period spending years looking for this totemic noise rock release where the band interpreted the whole of the Rolling Stones' classic record. I finally tracked it down in the early days of the internet. I was delighted. Then on listening, it is actually so much tamer and less raw than the Rolling Stones' original. Anyway, these days it is all on Spotify, like so much else. Listening to it again I am even less clear on why it was held in such hushed regard. I think that sometimes people just like being a person who talks about music more than actually listening to it. Quote
