As the cost of used vinyl continues to rise, the cost of used CDs keep falling.  So there are some amazing deals to be had out there.  The total for all of these (including shipping & tax) was $32.

Ordered this 3 disc set from a Discogs seller.

My wife & I are in North Carolina, visiting one of her friends.  I took a few hours this afternoon to hit a local record shop.  Got some excellent music and very good deals. 

In fact, I pulled these ten LPs from the dollar bins:

All in VG+ condition -- or better. 

I also picked up these:

Pretty nice haul.

A very interesting record, but I think that in this combination each of those three giants comes a bit too short.

I have heard this music in various forms over the years. In fact, I'm pretty sure I owned it on CD at least once. But I found an inexpensive used Japanese CD in my local record store so I thought I'd give it another listen. It's been a while since I've heard it.

I think it's a fascinating musical document, and I don't personally feel that any of the three "come up short."
