Ornette Coleman: To Whom who keeps a Record Anthony Braxton: Three New Compositions of New Jazz (the Delmark one) Don Ellis: New Ideas and How Time Passes A pretty nice haul. Don't have the Beauty is a Rare Thing Box, so the Ornette is largely functioning as 'new' music for me (do have Twins and Art/Improvisors though). Those Griffin's are stellar...check out the track Catharsis on Sextet which features a blistering duet between Griff & Wilbur Ware (one of my favorite jazz "moments"). It's pretty good, but not great. Szabo's records had a unique sound, and I think he is more valuable for that reason than for what Spellbinder alone has to offer.
