No it's not that one but the other BYG, as you were everybody.

I still like B-XO though.

Interestingly appears to be a UK focussed production as it's priced in £ and Le Gendre is possibly our best Jazz journo 

From "original tapes" with exec producer being one of the original producers, interesting given the history of BYG that I've learnt on here over the years.

BYG website indicates it's being operated by the Charly label.

I haven't felt compelled to pick any of these up since I already have most of the BYG catalog, but I saw a couple of the CD titles in person recently and they do look like very nice packages.

Given the history of BYG would also be nice to know the artists and their estates are getting paid!

I got some of these vinyl Charly reissues and I've been able to compare Art Ensemble "Message to our folks", I think the original BYG sounds better.

Someone around could probably explain to me what those Braxton math like codes mean? His compositions are also titled in a certain manner. What’s the meaning behind it?

The little I've read of Braxton's writings I found rather impenetrable (likely my bad), so I didn't pursue more.

I just located some discussion of his compositional diagrams here

but on a quick reading I'm not sure how the "composition #", e.g. "Composition #19 for 100 tubas" relates to the "composition diagram-title", e.g. 

Maybe the former is something like an opus number.

FWIU, those codes are how he notates his compositions. Instead of the traditional music sheet he uses these diagrams. I think that's extrapolated on some of his later collections like ZIM Music and others. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

You can break down the title like this:

"B-X⁰" is the category or system within his comp. language
with the "B" referring to a series and the "X⁰" being a subset
or a structural branch.

The "NO-47ᴬ": "NO" being a notational code that brings us to
"47ᴬ" being Composition 47 with an alternative version "ᴬ".

Also, the "100 Tubas" work is an early work - from '68/'69 - 
being his 19th official composition.

I have a CD on Fuel 2000 records. Same cover photo but says actuel 6 on the cover. Released 2002.

3 cuts, 39 minutes 12 seconds total time.

To make it even more confusing, BYG released it in 1980 as BYG 14
