Joe G Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Let me know - I've got this coming weekend free. Quote
WD45 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Gonna get down to about 5 again tonight. This weather makes me pissy. Make that 5 below. Or should I say, "Blow." Quote
catesta Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 It should start snowing around 3:00 AM. The last storm didn't net much but they say to expect 4-6 inches this time. Quote
Joe G Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 The snow's coming down pretty heavy here now. Quote
Free For All Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 The snow's coming down pretty heavy here now. You're getting what we got yesterday. About 10 inches here. Temps below zero tonight. At least since it was already cold when it fell it was pretty easy to shovel. My all-wheel drive Subaru did great on the snowy roads, while others were foundering. Anyhow, good luck with all of that. Quote
Joe G Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 My Subaru did fine this morning, too. Now I just hope this snowfall sticks around, and that we get some additional accumulation, so I can get some good skiing in this winter. I'm not getting my hopes up, though. Quote
sheldonm Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 ....6-8 inches of snow in Indy.....people driving like they've never seen snow before !!!! m~ Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Time for me to go shovel snow. Quote
chris olivarez Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 No snow here right now. It's closing in on 130pm and it's currently 32 degrees. Quote
catesta Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 The high today was only 25 °F. Right now = 21 °F Quote
BeBop Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 Clear, 75 degrees (22C). Calm winds. But who wants to be in Yemen? Quote
Dan Gould Posted December 14, 2005 Report Posted December 14, 2005 Bitterly cold overnight, I actually needed a blanket. Quote
catesta Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 We had a high around 50° today. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Shitty. Snowed all day. Around noon a truck pulled up in front of the house, told me he could not get in the driveway. Had to unload a skid of cds in the street and carry them to the garage, then inside the house and lastly to the basement. Ahhhhhhhhhh, the life in the arts. Quote
7/4 Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 We had a high around 50° today. 57 down here! I was shocked to wake up and see most of the snow gone. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Weather seems to be lousy in Buffalo too. That's where our son Eric lives. Late last night he slipped and shattered his left wrist. Surgery consult on Monday, but the ER doc said his wrist was hamburger and would need plates and screws. Quote
chris olivarez Posted December 17, 2005 Report Posted December 17, 2005 Colorado+December=Cold. Currently 18 degrees. Quote

catesta Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 High should be around 43 °today. We got a light dusting of snow yesterday so there is some white on the ground. We're heading into Manhattan for some lunch and to take my girlfriend's son to Central Park. She thinks he might like to see the zoo. He is 14, so this should be a real picnic. Quote

rachel Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 So how was the zoo? It's been 55 degrees and very stormy today. Sun broke out a little while ago and produced the most beautiful rainbow-- 180 degrees of perfect ROYGBIV. Anybody else in Indy see it? Quote
catesta Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 (edited) So how was the zoo? It's been 55 degrees and very stormy today. Sun broke out a little while ago and produced the most beautiful rainbow-- 180 degrees of perfect ROYGBIV. Anybody else in Indy see it? We loved it. The kid on the other hand, he walked around with a three foot long face and his headphones on. It appears either we, and, or Manhattan is not cool enough for him. He is wrong on both counts. We've got rain at the moment. Edited January 2, 2006 by catesta Quote
