Glad to hear Bellinger is headed back to the Cubbies, I think they now have a strong shot at the playoffs if not the Division. @tkeith Hoping some folks try to puzzle out the alto before the end of the month. So far we've eliminated Red Holloway, Charlie Williams, Chris Woods, Hank Crawford, Lockjaw and Cleanhead. My hint is, this well-regarded player had a few leader dates but is best known as a sideman/feature soloist.

I get notifications of comments on youtube posts both to my email and on the site itself. One would still know messages that got 'deleted' by the uploader/owner of the channel regardless of whether it is still seen or not.

I missed the Shelley Manne Reel to Real release on my first scan. I think that and probably the Nat are top targets for me. Uncertain of the McDuff due to uncertainty about the saxophonists listed. Would have been a no-brainer if Red Holloway was still in the band. The Lateef is probably next but frankly, uncertain due to the year. If it had been archival from ten years earlier ...

Considering that Mosaic has never done anything close to a set that involves music released as recently as 2009 I won't hold my breath for the opportunity to decline a purchase. Thank you but I did it of my own accord so no reimbursement needed. Basically just prepaid what I would have in 2024. With this near-emergency motivating a good deal of contribution activity, I figure I am good until 2025 now. I would not be interested in any sort of "anything goes" forum and would prefer to be part of the Organissimo site especially if it will get an upgrade/relaunch in the future.
