Crime fiction (not mystery)

I would have suggested Connelly's Bosch books but they seem like very good examples of murder mystery novels to me. -

I'm an epic four years late to this, but my friend Steuart Liebig was in this band. I really like Georgia Blue, but the line on this group is that they were transcendent in a live setting. It's great that this recording is still out there. (That entire YouTube channel is a treasure trove, incidentally.)

Joe Henderson - Consonance: Live at the Jazz Showcase
Niko replied to DougFelt's topic in New Releases
Re Rodby, he was in the houseband at the Jazz Showcase where he played with Art Pepper... In July 1977, Art Pepper took him with him to NY for that famous run at the Village Vanguard... Rodby played the Tuesday and Wednesday nights (not included in the box set) until he was replaced by George Mraz who appears on the recordings... According to the liner notes of the box, it was Elvin Jones who insisted on a different bassist... -
I've heard of that guy (I think). Looking forward to receiving my copy.

Agreed. According to information on Bandcamp, the New World issue is working from Jonathan Horwich's digital transfer.

Wilbur Campbell is an intriguing presence, so I'm in for it on CD.

This is a good film.

McCoys playing is great but I really dislike those voices
