Tedeschi Trucks/Leon Russell - Mad Dogs and Englishmen Revisited This is cool - they brought in all of the remaining members of Joe Cocker's Mad Dogs band, included RIta Coolidge and Dave Mason. And newer folks like Chris Robinson and Warren Haynes. Fun album. -

Finally getting to sit in front of the stereo after a morning of activity. It’s cold out there! Starting off with John Coltrane, “Dakar,” a session I have always liked produced by Teddy Charles for Prestige, pairing Coltrane with baritone saxophonists Pepper Adams and Cecil Payne, with Mal Waldron, Doug Watkins and Art Taylor. Sounding really good in the mastering from this box set:
