So, a little less than 4 weeks til we and all our stuff moves to Pittsburgh. As of this post, I think we’re about 60% packed (+/-5%) — and since neither of us are working any more, we should be 90% done within 2 weeks. Which is good, because we’re taking 2-3 days to run up to PGH with a carload of artwork — plus a few clothes, and some kitchen stuff — the week before the movers take everything. Won’t be too much longer!!

Yes it is a streaming platform. When they started out uploading Schaap reels, I offered edited/audio optimized MP3 recordings but nobody every took me up on that offer.

Sound is surprisingly good. But the LP length playing time makes me wonder what their source was.

I'm guessing the Japanese market will eventually reissue a bunch of titles. I'm hoping for an album called Kind of Blue. And another rare-ish one—Blue Train.

Yes, Oto maintains a really high standard of programming and has done really since it opened. I would love to hear Keefe Jackson live, lovely player. I realise I've seen the other two at, yes you guessed it, Oto. Not together though.
