  2. Probably mentioned before here but: The Complete Sam Rivers on Impulse! I've got most of it on vinyl but lots of it hasn't been reissued on both vinyl or cd. Stuff with Dave Holland, Barry Altschul etc. that really deserves a definitive version.
  3. Enjoy Stefan!
  4. It was like Max & Cecil only totally different if you know what I mean... But..."it" all starts here... https://youtu.be/XqDim6Ix96E?si=eoktnIToZrEXJPkm
  5. Nice, I'm jealous you got to see them.
  6. 19 years later your wish has come true https://archive.org/details/cd_the-complete-recordings-of-t-bone-walke_t-bone-walker

  8. Thanks for the reply. This is something that I assumed would be simple...but, having never done it before, it's proving to be a bit of a headache. If I ever get it figured out, I'll follow up and let you know! Yeah, this is exactly what I would like to do. In addition to the artist and album title, I'd like to include the year of original release and some basic edition-specific information (RVG Edition, OJC Edition, etc) as well, since I have multiple editions of some discs. I just ordered 1,000 CD Pro sleeves, so...looks like I'm committed. 😄
  9. Today
  10. Music performed on one of the organs built by my great great great great great grandfather.
  11. Norgran Records MG N 1049 - Buddy De Franco " Odalisque" - rec 1953 (A) & 1954 (B) -
  12. Maybe he would have made that record with Gil Evans.
  13. I don't know but I find this Jomboy Breakdown pretty damn funny.
  14. The Jerry Garcia Band “Garcia Live Volume 20” disc 2
  15. My favorite Pharoah Sanders release is "Crescent With Love", which has Sanders operating at a sedate pace for most songs. I still play it quite often.
  16. They just need to be a certain distance from the walls. Varies by room and what you have in it.
  17. This amazing first disc, the first appearance of the great Miles Davis Quintet with George Coleman at the Antibes Jazz Festival in 1963. Miles in France – Miles Davis Quintet 1963/64: The Bootleg Series, Vol. 8, Disc 1 This box set is excellent. . . and this may be my favorite disc.
  18. Here’s another video that was published yesterday:
  19. A 42 degree morning! Loving it! Saw nine deer crossing the road near the lights on our dogwood tree and slipping into the forest across the street. Amazing sight! I found a cheap copy of the 2 cd version of this one that arrived yesterday and I am really enjoying the second disc. Excellent recording and great playing. Wish it were longer! Herbie Hancock “River–The Joni Mitchell Letters” Verve cd. On to Another disc from the "Enjoying the Ride" Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary box set, Frost Amphitheater, Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA (8/20/83), disc 3
  20. That's great to hear, two musicians I really enjoy so good to know they work well together. Now I just need them to come to London together, both are here often individually so there's a sllther of hope.
  21. I have probably 1,200 albums in discsox. I created a template to add the leader/group name and have them filed where I can flip through like a Rolodex.
  22. 👍 - saw her live in Kassel with Robert Hurst (b) and Mark Johnson (dr)
  23. Not unlike wondering what Jimi would have done. SO much speculation, but we'll never know.
