My mistake - thinking of lp issues - the cd sounds fine.

I have listened to disc 1 and it sounds dandy.

One thing to add about recording at Rudy's - Before the session he asks about he instrumentation, set-ups and anything else you can provide. When you walk in the door everything is set up - unpack and play. It has been the most efficient operation I have experienced. That saved about an hour and a half of billed time.

Just ran across this invoice for recording Roscoe Mitchell's "L-R-G" with Wadada and George. Note that Rudy ran a 16 track machine and a "direct to 2". He said he hadn't done this in years and we used the 2 tracks. We did 2 complete takes of each side of the lp.
