  3. Jim and some of his equipment helped making the original transfers from the two inch, sixteen track tapes. The Russell will be released at the same time.
  4. Aha! So when we see who wrote the liner notes, we'll know who the procrastinator is! Possibly not. I will probably go for "plan B".

  6. Just waiting on the liner notes for the Sullivan. All else is ready.
  7. It is listed on the City Hall site. City Hall is the Uptown distributor. I also got a call from Bob yesterday and we discussed this project among others in the works.
  8. Wilmoth Houdini Wilford Brimley John Brim
  9. Wonderful set. I think I have most of it on cd now, thanks to Timeless.
  10. If we're not talking jazz, it's Dylan for me too. Probably a dozen times over 40 years in three countries and 4 cities. Only saw Dylan perform twice (was around him in a non-performing situation a couple of times too) - first was a concert in Boston with the Band (1974?) and second in a tv studio in Chicago for a John Hammond tribute.
  11. This has been in the works for over a decade.
  12. The Black Lions are my "default" Dexters. The 3 Swiss Nights discs are not far behind.
  13. My old friend Marty Khan has assured me all is legit with this package. Go for it.
  14. I have just heard this was cleared with Juanita and the sidemen. Not confirmed, but positive news.
  15. Bender Flipper Corker
  16. Since this is a new release, Juanita (or any heir) should receive an advance in order to "clear" the release for issue. Future royalties depend on sales and/or the contract.
  17. Are you paid for posting these?
  18. if anyone needs to catch up on some Okkas, check with me. I have a few to sell.
