  1. Yeah but unfortunately a lot worse for the wear!
  2. They're probably headed for Barcelona, where the boxes will be tinted blue and will be available from the Spanish arm of Time/Life Records.
  3. I've been out sick for the past week or so and I have bought a couple of dozen of these from freshsoundrecords.com. I tried to see what they had available on their site, only to find that it was out of commission. Funny, no?
  4. Hey Berigan, what's with all the Stephen King special effects? I get sick for a couple days and come back to find this board is turning into a black mass!! Was it something I said?

  7. I like a version done by Juinor Mance Trio on enja. The album is called "Softly As A Morning Sunrise".
  8. I'm with you! The old page conformed to the style and black and white format of the Mosaic boxes. It had a simple elegance. The new one looks like a K-Mart circular.

  14. Keith Jarrett-At The Blue Note(Discs 1-3) Red Garland-Rediscovered Masters Vol 1 Jazz Crusaders-Live At The Lighthouse '66 Django Reinhardt-Mosaic Set(Discs 1&2)
  15. I think that you should take into consideration how much longer a particular set will be around before it goes OOP and you have to pay big eBay prices later. The Mobley has been around for awhile and would probably be a good choice. Personally, I really love the Django set. The music is timeless, you can't get enough Django IMO.
  16. They were down for about a week. No explanation.
  17. In case anyone is interested, Cheap Cds is back on-line. I personally am glad to see them back. They are a good source for buying music at a good discount.
  18. Even though he's only got two albums under his name, his credentials recording with Miles, Diz and Mingus are quite impressive.
  19. I don't have the Paris Moods (but will soon!) I don't think that I have ever heard a Wilen recording that wasn't terrific. I think that his Alfa recordings were produced in his prime.

  22. They will be releasing the vinyl set of the Miles Davis Blackhawk Live sometime in July
  23. I think I saw him kissing Monica Lewinsky once, or maybe it was the other way around or maybe.......................
  24. Ravi Shankar. I think I've heard that name before. Isn't he related to some FAMOUS person?
