Got mine in the mail today and am enjoying the hell out of it.You guys really make beautiful music together!! I thought since I check around this board quite a bit that I should contribute a few bucks toward the cause and it is money well spent. Thanks for this board and for the wonderful listening experience with the CD. It will be in the cd player a lot ,I'm sure!!

I had it on order from CD Universe as well. I got it at Virgin Records in Boston this morning. I had a free cd coming on their frequent buyer program so I bit. They had about 8 copies available for purchase.
It is a great album. Beautiful improvisational long tracks played by this piano great backed by skillful bass and drummer. One of the best new albums I have heard so far this year!
I guess that I'll have to agree with you on this one Ed. Its a nice product and a nice price and I don't think that Time-Life is an outift that doesn't watch its back when it get into such an enterprise. Its a win-win situation for the cosumer. Load
'em up quickly because as soon as someone pulls a plug on these titles, the eBay wolves will come-a prowlin'
My regular contributions to the cause have not diminished either! My wife even broke down and bought a Blue Note CD by some new artist called Nellie Jones or something...
There's a fashion trend I've been noticing lately: Printed words on the seats of women's pants. At first I thought this was like having written permission to have a look. But I just realized that what I've seen printed in both cases was a brand name. So basically it's just another form of advertisement, only this time emblazoned across a woman butt!
If you look closely the tattoo on the right butt says "Come Away With Me" and the butt on the left says "Blue Note Records" I think this is partly why they closed down the Blue Note Board. They found better "areas" to advertise on/in.
I got them yesterday and have never listened to much Randy Weston before. I am very impressed with what I've heard so far(discs 1 &2). Score another hit for Mosaic!
Its a positive high, Jack! I think that is a great suggestion!!
I've been a fan of "One Foot In the Gutter" and recently a good friend turned me on to "Into Something" which I really dig. These two compiled with other material would make a great Select.
I'm up for asking if Ravi Shankar has a favorite color. Does he have his own board or is he riding on the skirt-tails of his famous off-spring, I can't remember her name at the moment, Nola Something..............................................
