  5. Gerry Mulligan The Complete Verve Gerry Mulligan Concert Band Sessions Disc 1
  6. On the third or fourth page, where it says ship to or sell to (I can't remember which ) state worldwide.
  7. Is he so far off mic that you cannot hear him or is it like the Live in London CDs where he is not as clear while off mic?
  8. Sonny Rollins There Will Never Be Another You I have wondered about this live recording. Has anyone here heard it? Is the sound quality comparable to the Live in London recordings?
  9. I have the July 19, 1987 show. It is not the worst I have heard, but it still solicits a few cringes from me.
  10. The Complete Anita O'Day Clef/Verve Sessions Almost finished with disc 2 Next: disc 3
  11. The Complete Anita O'Day Clef/Verve Sessions DISC 1
  12. This is sad news. May she rest in peace. Same situation for me. Mosaic actually mis-shipped it to me. When I called to report it they advised me to listen to the set and if I disliked it to send it back. Well, they knew darn well I wouldn't be sending it back after hearing the wonderful music.
  13. I guess there will be a bunch of us buying one in that last batch because I had the same game plan.
  14. Seriously, it was a huge surprise to me and most people in the metro because everyone assumed Jeter was the lock.
  15. What is there to say; I love it. Sent from the Home of the Minnesota Twins.
  16. Sad news. I was just playing one of CDs and thinking about how lucky I was to see him perform with Randy Weston.
  17. The Tom Waits boxset Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers, and Bastards came out today. Has anyone picked it up yet? My copy just arrived; so I will be spinning after I finish listening to the CD I currently have on.
  18. In the past few years, I had heard he had health problems, but this is still sad news. I will have to re-watch McCabe & Mrs. Miller tonight.
  19. Wonderful group, that should have been on the most recent Nuggets set. The mom-and-pop record store I used to work at had them do an instore when Hypstrz Live at the Longhorn was issued by Bomp.
  20. It seems like years after the release of Loveless, the CD is now for some reason regarded much higher then when it was released. When it came out I was disappointed in Loveless, in comparison to their previous CD Isn't Anything. In concert, I recall the music sounding much better, but that could have been because of how f*%#ing load they were. From what I recall it was a bill with Babes in Toyland, MBV, and Dinosaur Jr. headlining. Now I think it's a pretty good time capsule from that time in my life, but I still prefer Isn't Anything to it.
  21. What does everyone think about Alfonso Soriano signing an eight year deal with the Chicago Cubs for $136?
  22. I have heard the Shepp/Dixon that was reissued and these two: MG 12190 Marc Levin - The Dragon Suite MG 12194 Charles Moffett - The Gift Though it has been quite a while since I have heard the Levin. I will dig out a copy my buddy made for me on the cassette in the mid 90s and give it another spin.
  23. Blueport? Four minutes into it and don't notice it yet. Can you say approx when? Yes, it was on Blueport. I put the disc back on to see where the glitch was, but now the problem doesn't come up anymore. Thanks for checking yours.
