I'd pay for some sleep... You obviously don't have a restless 3 year old... Buks speek. My freshman year in college, I had a buddy from SF, a really fine pianist, who was really into Zeitlin. So I was always borrowing his Zeitlin Columbia sides to see if I could get into it myself. The problem was, and I kid you not on this, was that I would always, and I do mean always, fall asleep halfway through a side. Didn't matter which album or which side, about halfway through the 2nd tune, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Finally, after about 6 months of this, I gave up, took my buddy at his word, and let it go at that. So gee, I'd like to get this and check it out again, but I dunno if it makes sense to pay for sleep, especially at this point of my life.

okay... I admit it.... I'm thoroughly... pro-Obama... so when it's all said and done... which Mosaic will most accurately reflect my mood??? :unsure: :unsure:

Finishing up Dizzy Disc 7 .. Is it my imagination or has there been very little discussion of this set????? :unsure: In any case... I've thoroughly enjoyed this set... except for the 2nd half of Disc 6.... The vocalese album did not sit very well with me.....

In the car finished Quincy Disc 5.... The Live sections are MUCH better than the studio stuff... overall I'm disappointed... <_< Started Dizzy set Disc 1....and as I expected :excited: :excited: :excited: Is there anyone left on this board who hasn't gotten the Dizzy set??? :huh:

Quincy Jones set... Disc 3.. I know some on this board warned me... I'm finding it is a bit of a disappointment.... Some who are on the fence about this one... might want to wait...

I'm getting the sense that NO ONE has ordered it since it went to Running Low... Is that right??? If that's correct, then that's kinda telling... I'm still on the fence.....

Why do I have the feeling that this is falling into the same category for me as the Mobley set?? (I KNOW this will come as sacrilegious to some...) Nice to have but DEFINITELY not essential!... On a non-Mosaic note... Last night, just finished listening to Maria Schneider's new ArtistShare (IMHO - Masteriece!) Sky Blue.... Outstanding!!!! :excited:
