    Funny Rat

I second that recommendation. This is a great album. Pity they left off the track Chuck was talking about somewhere else in this thread.
  2. The Mosaic set included these albums: First Place Again - Warner Bros. Take Ten - RCA Easy Living - RCA Glad to Be Unhappy - RCA Bossa Antigua - RCA plus a lot of extra tracks.

  4. Be carefull he doesn't move to your front or back. People are watching with renewed vigor this week.
  5. The hybrid Analogue Productions SACDs of Waltz for Debby and Sunday at the Village Vanguard are my favorite versions.
  6. The Steve Hoffman version is my favorite. Amazon.com has a few.
  7. Not everyone outside the Netherlands knows. I'm not even sure every Dutchman knows...
  8. Though our names are almost identical, I'd like to point out that I'm not the seller.
  9. Maybe Sony didn't have the rights or they were unable to lease the recordings.
  10. Michael, The link doesn't work. Edit: yep, it does now.
  11. Another one gone. Sad, very sad.
  12. I never knew that books could cause bowel problems...
  13. As long as I can afford it, that is...
  14. Plus Chris' adventures on another board regarding a certain mr Crouch...
  15. They're still available from Fantasy, CDUniverse and other stores, of course.
  16. I didn't, but the board suddenly slowed down to a point that it seemed "dead" again.
  17. I saw that. I think it's cool he did an update thread for B3-er, but why delete the existing "other forums" thread? He made it perfectly clear in a (now also deleted) post in that thread that he didn't like Org members posting only about Org and not taking part in discussions elsewhere on AAJ.
  18. Some engineers who are doing mastering jobs for record companies are fiddling with the EQ by bumping up the high frequencies (and sometimes the lower frequencies as well) when they're transferring music from LPs or whatever source to CD. This manipulated EQ is sometimes described as a "happy smiley" EQ.
  19. Over on AAJ Mike Ricci (xricci) has just deleted the "other forums" thread and replaced it with this.
  20. An ode to Roy Orbison... Hmm... ()
