This one's always doing well on eBay. Perhaps it's the mini-LP sleeve that does the trick, I don't know.

Don't want to be too negative, but I listened to several sound samples and didn't like what I heard at all.

One glance at the back cover of Ellery Eskelin's new release Ten was enough for me (guitar, voice...) - I'll pass.

Another favorite gone...

I haven't listened to that one for quite a while now, but from what I remember it is one of Brötzmann's better albums.
-
'Dance With Death' is one of the best Hill albums from his BN days. One of his very organised and also readily accessible session. Tolliver and Farrell shine thoughout but the musician I love on that album is Billy Higgins who gives a unique impetus to the date. Dance with Death is indeed one of Hill's better Blue Note albums. I agree with Brownie's assessment.

Lee Morgan and Chet Baker booklets
J.A.W. replied to sjarrell's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
I asked them about six months ago, and they told me there weren't any copies of the Lee Morgan booklet left. -
Several CDs I ordered from different sources in the U.S. shipped by surface mail late August and I'm still waiting...

All the best, Joe.
