Funny, I like most Crispell sessions you guys hate... Haven't heard Ithaca yet, though. What is it you don't like, a certain kind of lyricism she seems to have adopted lately?

It finally arrived today, with greetings from Dutch Customs - had to pay €14 ($17.50) tax... Can I ask how much you were charged for shipping? CDUniverse charged me $15.99 shipping, so the set cost me a total of ($91 + $16 + $17.50 =) $124.50... Sigh...

Wasn't the TOCJ dubbed from vinyl? If I remember correctly, there was a thread or a series of posts about this on this forum some time ago.

Re: Tsahar's Open Systems, I've just listened to this one again: Kowald is indeed amazing and Drake's not bad either, but, to put it mildly, I'm having increasing doubts about Tsahar. His playing doesn't hold my attention for more than a few minutes at the most. As for the vocalizing, I hate it - nothing new there, I'm afraid
