  1. I'm sickened, but ultimately unsurprised. Words fail me.
  2. That's what I thought. I was just curious as to which tracks were on this particular EP.
  3. Wow! What's on that one?
  4. Again, looking at these lineups and answers, I'm really surprised I didn't warm up to this at first. Time to dig it out again!
  5. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
  6. Looking at these answers and these lineups, I'm surprised I didn't react more positively to this disc. Time to listen to it again!
  7. I'm just happy that EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS first season is already out!!! Why isn't this on a major network? AFAIC, it's the best family comedy on TV right now!
  8. You got THAT right!!!! I was listening on the radio and it sounded like an upset in the making!
  9. I wish I'd seen Shawn's avatar when I bought a couple discs from him last week..... maybe he could've included a picture or two!
  10. Calling her gorgeous would be like calling Mt. St. Helens a small hill.
  11. Who is it? Conn=doesn't know shit about movie stars. ....Scarlet Johansen (sp) indeed!!!!
  12. Somebody 'splain why this box--at 6 CDs--costs the same as the Miles Prestige Quintet box--the one with only FOUR discs!!!
  13. Well, $27 for the Lalo, $16 for the Tatum, and $10 for the Jenkins/Burrell. Not great, but not bad, and certainly a heckuva lot more than I woulda gotten at the used CD store. Cheers!
  14. Man, sometimes I can barely last an hour..... driving, that is!
  15. So I bought the Prestige 2-fer of Kenny Burrell's ALL DAY LONG and ALL NIGHT LONG LPs, thinking I'd found a good deal. Then I find out the CDs have a total of three extra tracks not on the vinyl. The upside is that the 2 LPs will burn nicely onto a single CD. The downside is that the 2 CDs will also fit nicely onto one CD (as .wma's, that is; but my car stereo will play that anyway). Phooey!!!
  16. You got THAT right!!!
  17. Up with price reduction
  18. COLTRANE: John Coltrane k2. Has the slipcase & everything. $8 postpaid to US and Canada, postage extra outside the US. PayPal preferred. Or, trade for the following RVGs: Demon's Dance Here to Stay Doin' the Thing at the Village Gate PM or e-mail acrearick@hotmail.com. Thanks again!
  19. That's what I was thinking, too.
  20. Yeah, that was where I started. The back cover of Eminent, Volume 3 has the tracks listed among the liners which, I assume, is the order that they're in on each other volume. The others have other LPs listed on the back, some have the songs, others don't, and not in any particular order for the ones that do. I know I'm being anal, but I thought it might be fun to program the CD player to replicate the LP running-orders. Thanks for the help anyway!

CDBaby link to all three of his Blue Note albums from the 90's, of which From Now On is my favorite!
  22. Oh dear! How sad! Memories of Thurman Munson just came rushing back.....
