I'm seeing the film opening night. Advance word is that its his best since "Goodfellas". I'm a huge fan of Scorsese, and I haven't been this excited to see a film in quite some time. They've been saying that about all his films since..... well, "Goodfellas."

The difference between then and now is simply this: back then, blacks had no choice but to let themselves be degraded. Nowadays, they have that choice, and unfortunately they choose to do just that. In that respect, things are worse now than they were back then.

"Watching and Waiting" is one of their best songs. Guy The more I listen to that song, the more I agree.

Okay, finally hit on one I enjoy: To Our Children's Children's Children Some pretty songs, a couple decent rockers, and an absolute winner in "Sun is Still Shining." Plus, to my knowledge, none of these songs have been destroyed by classic-rock radio. This album best captures the spirit of the Moodies better than their other classic albums, IMHO.

Can you imagine the riot in Detroit right now had another team made the wild card? What a colossal choke to end the season: getting swept by the lowly Royals! And then, to top it off, coming in second after leading the division all season! Hard to call a playoff team a disappointment, but man, what a way to end the season!

What Alex said. Sheesh, first Elizabeth Berkley in SHOWGIRLS, now this..... what is this world coming to? Although, come to think of it, with a name like Dustin Diamond, it's amazing we didn't see this.... er, coming.
