  1. So I bought the Prestige 2-fer of Kenny Burrell's ALL DAY LONG and ALL NIGHT LONG LPs, thinking I'd found a good deal. Then I find out the CDs have a total of three extra tracks not on the vinyl. The upside is that the 2 LPs will burn nicely onto a single CD. The downside is that the 2 CDs will also fit nicely onto one CD (as .wma's, that is; but my car stereo will play that anyway). Phooey!!!
  2. You got THAT right!!!
  3. Up with price reduction
  4. COLTRANE: John Coltrane k2. Has the slipcase & everything. $8 postpaid to US and Canada, postage extra outside the US. PayPal preferred. Or, trade for the following RVGs: Demon's Dance Here to Stay Doin' the Thing at the Village Gate PM or e-mail acrearick@hotmail.com. Thanks again!
  5. That's what I was thinking, too.
  6. Yeah, that was where I started. The back cover of Eminent, Volume 3 has the tracks listed among the liners which, I assume, is the order that they're in on each other volume. The others have other LPs listed on the back, some have the songs, others don't, and not in any particular order for the ones that do. I know I'm being anal, but I thought it might be fun to program the CD player to replicate the LP running-orders. Thanks for the help anyway!

CDBaby link to all three of his Blue Note albums from the 90's, of which From Now On is my favorite!
  8. Oh dear! How sad! Memories of Thurman Munson just came rushing back.....
  9. Man, someone should jump on GRASS ROOTS! That is one helluva session!
  10. PM sent on Hubbard and Lost Sessions
  11. Do any of you have the following 10" Blue Notes and can provide the track running orders? BLP 5022: Miles Davis, Volume 2 BLP 5040: Miles Davis, Volume 3 BLP 5028: Eminent Jay Jay Johnson, Volume 1 BLP 5057: Eminent Jay Jay Johnson, Volume 2 BLP 5070: Eminent Jay Jay Johnson, Volume 3 Thanks!
  12. How is Hilary Swank in this movie? Hot? Miscast?
  13. There are too many "Cow Sheep" (as Randy Galloway calls 'em) to ever admit that signing T.O. was a mistake. More's their pity. The Cowboys offensive line couldn't even stand up to my son's 5th grade football team's defense. The rest of this season oughta be fuuuuuuuuuuunnnnn!!!
  14. Just out of curiosity, does anyone have the 10" LPs of the Horace Silver Quintet who can provide the original running order of each LP? Might be fun to program the CD player to play in the order of the 10" LPs!
  15. Now you've offended all shoppers with "unofficial" relationships. It probably embarrassed their "significant others" as well. STOP THE INSULTS AL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially the Jewish Gypsies.
  16. A wonderful show it is, too. Adds even more insight to an already insightful collection!
  17. I just recently got a copy for the very first time. A quick note that the RVG of this record sounds FANTASTIC. Of course, not having anything else to compare it to, I could be completely off. However, the RVG of Horace Silver Trio absolutely SMOKES the old version, so I gotta believe the same holds true here. I love every player on this record, but even then I wasn't prepared to be as blown away as I was! Indeed, what a record!!!!
  18. Sure did enjoy that game! As long as Parcells is coach, Romo will never start.
  19. Still, good advice ignored is done so at the fool's peril. Tatum title updated and international shipping added to all items!
  20. I don't know what I missed since I last posted earlier this morning, but I changed the word to "cheated." Thanks for the advice, Clem. At this point, it may be useless to change the titles again; how many times can you change a title before someone starts wondering if I'm being legit or not? We'll see what happens. Tho' if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.....
  21. Thanks for the kind words! I want to make sure whoever's bidding sees everything, warts & all, so they don't feel cheated. Edited because I must've missed something since I last posted earlier today.
  22. Yes. Having never listed before, I'm taking this kinda baby steps, so as not to get in over my head.
