  1. I had a similar revelation when I discovered Ortega, courtesy of posts here. The Hat CD adds a fair bit to that LP if I remember correctly
  2. Reform Art Unit - Reform Art Unit with Aladdin Adlernest [Kovarik's Musikothek, Austria 1977]

    John Clayton

Why not use Gofundme? It's reputable and works effectively, especially in emergency circumstances like this where the beneficiaries have no longer got postal addresses and are far too busy putting their lives back together to deal with direct donations I would have thought.
  4. Ute Kanngießer, Eddie Provost, Seymour Wright - Splendid Nettle
  5. He has, I gave up trying to keep up years ago now and there was a lot then. I should revisit what I have.
  6. Hope you feel better soon
  7. Apologies, just a mess up with the quote facility which for some reason I couldn't delete
  8. My Only Desire are currently reactivating Michael Garrick's back catalogue https://myonlydesirerecords.bandcamp.com/ Looks like they have got some CDs but also downloads of his later years' recordings
  9. Thanks, I'll have a look for them. Sort of thing Honest Jons might stock
  10. Julius Eastman - Femenine on Frozen Reeds Angles! They're a great band in whichever size
  11. An early one by the looks of it. Like most I only really know his albums from the World Circuit releases onwards Only just noticed that it's Lytton not Lovens tonight. I think now that I recall mention of health issues for Lovens a while back
  12. Yes, that's great fun when it happens
  13. Pim you can have my ticket. If you leave now you should make it 😃 It took me some years to really get Parker but once I did I'm all in no matter who he plays with. I've not seen him live since before Covid and was particularly looking forward to doing so in this trio again
  14. Enjoy it. I saw them 10 years ago and it was one of the best. Lovens is a joy to witness NP: Alexander von Schlippenbach/Evan Parker/Paul Lovens - Dettol Fra Du Noi [Po Torch Records, West Germany 1981] Interestingly, for those of us who find such things interesting, this isn't credited to the von Schlippenbach Trio but to the three individuals on the front cover but in the typed catalogue insert and the back cover notes it's the Von Schlippenbach Trio...sorry, ex-librarian
  15. You going tonight? I can't make it sadly, especially as I have a ticket
  16. Dreadful, hope he's OK physically. It seems that Steve Lehman and Bennie Maupin also lost homes
  17. 😃that would explain it! I'll now stop beating myself up for being tardy, thank you
  18. And mine
  19. Yes, I came to that late in the year but after several plays it definitely stuck with me. Similarly, Ganavya's 'Daughter Of A Temple' made a late impact
  20. Absolutely terrifying. Here's wishing anyone in the area safety
  21. Thanks for posting this as it alerted me me to its release. I enjoy her previous releases.
  22. Yes, I remember Flashpoint being in mono
  23. That's interesting that it sounds good. I believed that Future Shock is a bootleg label and assumed it might therefore not sound great. Possibly taken from the Japanese CD I guess. An album I'd like to own one day
  24. The earlier Flashpoint is excellent so this is very interesting. Here's the Bandcamp link https://cuneiformrecords.bandcamp.com/album/flashpoints-and-undercurrents
