You seem to have missed this e-mail from Mosaic: While we try to always give our customers a reasonable lead time when a set is going out of print, sometimes circumstances beyond our control force us to delete sets on short notice. During the recent sale of EMI Music, pieces of the company were sold to Warner Bros. rather than Universal Music. As a result, we lost the rights to manufacture more of our Sarah Vaughan (Roulette) and Django Reinhardt (EMI France) sets. The supplies we have on both sets are very low and will only be available for a short time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Jazz Oracle has annouced The Complete Sam Wooding 1922-1931 on a 3 CD set. http://www.jazzoracle.com/catalogue/BDW_8070.asp There are no less then 8 previously unissued alternate takes from the Barcelona session. Also included 3 sideman sessions with all alternate takes.

They used to be well-stocked, but the owner is a dick. The shop clossed years ago. I got along with him very well. He is always present with a large stand at the Dr. Jazz meeting in Wageningen.

Ebay once in a blue moon. Worldsrecords used to be a favorite. Never let me down, nothing ever got lost in the post. Blue Note in Amsterdam was a favorite as well

Well, that would be about all of them, wouldn't it? Universal and Sony together control all the Brunswicks, Sony has the Victors and the Okehs. What's left? gregmo There's the Durium, Cameo and Plaza recordings. (There may be more.) Someone on this Forum gave a complete listing and said-- IIRC-- that they were controlled by Sony. Unfortunately I've searched but can't find the thread. Cameo and Plaza were two of the labels that amalgamated (with Pathe US) to form ARC, so those are Sony owned. But Durium? I thought it was an Italian fifties label. MG Durium was the company that issued 'Hit Of The Week' records
