The Cowboys were VERY lucky to escape with a win against the Bengals today. They looked flat for the whole game for the most part. Only Felix Jones seemed to play with any energy, to me.
Romo had another INT (8 in 8 straight games now), as well as a fumble. Both led to Bengals scores. And the with only a 24-22 lead, Romo threw a pass into the end zone that bounced off Miles Austin's hands, and into Patrick Crayton's. Could have been picked off and returned the other way for a TD.
I think the Boys are talented, but they haven't really gelled on either offense or defense this season, for some reason. Injuries have played a part of that. A couple of WRs have been out on and off all year, and probably their best cornerback, Terence Newman, has also been either out or significantly slowed all season. And Roy Williams is out, though depending on your opinion of his skills, that may or may not be a big deal.
But everyone else is dealing with injuries too, so no excuses. I think something's wrong with the coaching and play calling, not sure what though.
