Not that much of a fan then. This has been discussed for months in the film media. Great reviews. Check out http://www.rottentomatoes.com Village Voice says it may be the best Coen brothers film ever. Not playing here yet. Opens soon. Filmed in the area I live in. Cormac McCarthy lives here too - although is pretty reclusive.

I liked it. Big box office too. Therefore, go see The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, which needs all the box office help it can get.

Highly recommended.

It probably means it is boxed and labelled and sitting on a cart to be hauled to the post office. Yeah, probably. The exact wording is 'Item Dispatching Soon' which could of course mean anything from now to infinity.. Looks like my Monk order has been taken off the list by them. Ah well, c'est la vie.. The e-mail I received says "has dispatched", not "dispatching soon".

Mine has been "dispatched".

I'm a little disheartened by some of the vitriol (that's charm school for bullshit) in some recent threads (Gram Parsons, Howard Mandel, Keith Jarrett). Civility & collegiality do have a place. Disagreement is fine, but some of what I've been reading is just preening & posturing.
