We had a huge snow storm here - 2+ feet. No mail Fri., Sat., Sun., Mon., & now Tuesday. This has pushed me into paying a handful of bills on-line (which my wife has been trying to get me to do for a long time.) Our mail service here is always semi-lousy. I have a few packages that I've been tracking that have been sitting at the post office since Dec.29. Someone (hopefully) is coming to plow our driveway this morning so we can get out. Haven't been anywhere since Thursday evening.

Update: I came home on Thursday and it was on my porch! I ordered it on Tuesday at around 6:15 PST, and got it on Thursday! That's coming from calif. to NY- EXCELLENT!!!!! I'm hearing & reading bad things about Google checkout. I can't even get the Google checkout link to work. Keeps telling me the site is unavailable. You had a great experience. Anybody else??? Lots of orders over the past couple of months--all good. Good to hear it, because the thread I read elsewhere had a number of complaints about cards charged, items never received, lousy customer service ,etc.- mainly when going through buy.com. Maybe I'll reconsider if I can ever access the site.

When UPS or the mail comes she says, "Oh, it's the CD of the day". Actually she likes a lot of what I like. Exceptions are what she calls "tootin', squawkin' & squeakin".

The Impulse CD with Richie Kamuca et. al. stays near the top of my replay pile.

The Cuong Vu Trio was great except for an ear shattering final number which would have been more effective at lower decibel level.

Overall didn't really work for me.

At least it appears to be available, as opposed to Bouncin' With Bartok which has never appeared.
