Concerns for me are the Left Bank location (so many of the discs recorded there have lousy sound) and Ernie Andrews (I'm not really a fan). Big plus is Coleman. So I'm in 'wait and see" mode.
The best Brecker stuff I've ever heard is the albums they did under Hal Galper's leadership between about 1976 and 1978. Rip-roaring affairs. And the 'Dreams' album on Columbia from 1970 is great jazz-rock on side 2 (and interesting rock-jazz on side 1). Best leader date by him I've heard is 'Score', his Solid State album from 1969.
I find the whole draft/trade/free agency process of putting teams together much more interesting than the games themselves. I am glued to the set on draft night, but don't actually watch much in the way of games apart from some Sixers playoff games. Watching Big 5 (Penn/Villanova/Temple/St. Joe's/Lasalle) college games at the Palestra when I was younger was a rush that the NBA has never come close to for me.
I like "Boys of Summer", feel no need or desire to ever hear anything else by the Eagles or the solo artists again (Joe Walsh and Bernie Leadon excepted).
Still true... BTW, Dionne Warwick turned this one down, "too country" she said. And she floundered in 1965 while DeShannon had her breakthrough with this Bacharach classic (ironic, since DeShannon was a pretty great songwriter herself).
The title track to that album was also pretty strange, though moving. The great version of "Windows of the World" was by Scott Walker, who of course fed on weird music.
R.I.P. and thank you. I am a HUGE fan of his songs, my favorite being the majestic "Reach Out For Me", recorded by Dionne Warwick. Had it been released any year other than 1964, it would have charted much higher.

Amazing how many levels on which that Milli Vanilli grammy was a bad joke. That Christopher Cross album was actually quite good for what it was (soft rock). But Dire Straits or Rickie Lee Jones would have been better choices.
I've always been partial to Pepper Adams. And there's no denying Mulligan. Hamiett Bluiett was great at times, but somewhat inconsistent. Can't really speak to recent times.
You want the 3-CD version then.
I would guess this is the best sounding version of it: https://www.discogs.com/release/3701094-Return-To-Forever-Live-The-Complete-Concert-3-Record-Set
