  1. Take it back!!!
  2. Is that because his attack isn't as pronounced as some other trumpeters? I know what you mean, I just can't visualise it without listening to him play. I don't think it's his timing as such, more, like I say, his attack.
  3. Posh? Works for me! ← Posher than the rest of the Spices but by no means 'posh' BTW 'posh' is a term that tends to get overused by us working class northerners. Regarding accents, it usually refers to anything other than a local dialect so strong that only others from the neighbouring area will understand it. ie. Newsreaders = 'posh' ← I think the classification for Mrs. Beckham now goes under 'chav' rather than 'posh'. Drastic social 'demotion'. Mainly due to British press and possibly due to dressing her sons in nasty gold jewellery and sporting attire. Oh, and calling them such naff names to start with.

  5. This is about due for a re-listen. Good choice. It'll be getting some play later.
  6. Don't ask OK. (Bleeep, bleep.....toot, toot, blip) ←
  7. Which Star Wars character are you? I was err.....the Emporer Palatine. I wouldn't care I'm not really that hell bent on galactic domination. just wondering what sort of messed up answers you have to give to be comparable to C3 PO? " Do you have an angle grinder concealed about your person?"
  8. The Don Delta. I like it. Maybe Ken Burns should explore this.
  9. That's a posh South Yorkshire (Sheffield) accent as far as I'm concerned. I may of course be wrong, he may have travelled around as a child etc., but that's what it sounds like to me. I speak to Barry Hoban now and again (Tour de France stage winner etc) and he has a very similar accent. edit to say that Hoban is from similar neck of the woods to McLaughlin.
  10. Whoaaahhhh!!!!! I like it. A change is as good as......etc.
  11. Darth Vader, 'This Is Your Life' Not sure if you havd this cheesy show in the States but this is quite a good spoof transcript of the show.
  12. He won't do that again
  13. Errr...I've just read his (Johnny's) board signature! I'm wondering if that remark alludes to or is applicable to Mr. Bush in some way?
  14. What does this post mean exactly? I never posted anything that said Bastard. Please don't change things and attribute them to me, OK? Sorry Johnny, no offence meant. It's common practice at another board I visit. The intention was to (after having seen that link) exhibit my feelings towards the guy in particular and in general, the Christian Right. As I don't visit the Politics forum much at all, I'm not aware of your leanings, but fuigured as you provided the post in the first place, that you may see the funny side. Like I said, no offence meant.
  15. Why not? They attract attention and symbolize the danger of sex without protection. The message reads "Without a condom, you make love to AIDS" Not being funny, but, for starters that spider is giving the lady err...'oral pleasure' (unless arachnid appendages are located on their heads). Now the chances of catching HIV from someone's mouth are slim unless they have gaping, open sores. That chick doesn't look like the type who'd go for someone with that appearance.
  16. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Spiderman's new suit went down a treat with the ladies. Sorry to be glib, but these aren't really that effective IMO.
  18. Yeah, that's the same guy, Keith Denney, the jazz drummer I mentioned.
  19. Trying to tell us something SoulStream?
  20. I'd start off with Getz/Gilberto. Play it once through then stick 'O Grande Amor' on repeat play until the death knell. All the time masturbating furiously, belt around neck and golfball in gob. Well, it's as good a time as any
  21. adopt mockney-cockney voice Grant or Phil. It's faaahhh-mily.
  22. At first I was thinking, 'Crash', from about 6 or 7 years ago???? Then I had a skim thro' the site. Looks good. We'll probably have to wait a bit longer for it here though
  23. You haven't yet you mean?
