Aahhh yes, 'Jackass' generation, now not so content with sitting at home goofing over the show, they now have the technology/money at their disposal to ensure we're all participants in their fucked up take on 'fun'. Fortunately, Darwinian theory plays it's part in weeding out some of the morons; anyone seen that video clip in which some youths were hanging out of a car taking random, high-speed slaps at cyclists and pedestrians. One over zealous lad leaned a bit too far out of the car. Door opens letting him strike an oncoming car's front bumper with his head. I'm sure it would have been certain death. But I'd be happy with severe incapacity/ invalidity for him.

Sunday: When in York, I found the 'Seven Steps' individual discs which would complete the period (ie. the ones I didn't buy during the week). And , they were even cheaper :duh:. So, Seven Steps and Miles In Tokyo which at first listen sounds like a hell of an album. Not sure how far down this route they could've gone as opposed to the Wayne route. Rivers seems to change the way the whole band sound. Also, True Blue and Night Dreamer.

A friend of mine gave me an MP3 CD of about 5 or 6 Stones albums; classics like Let It Bleed etc. Still haven't listened to them. Bits and pieces but not a full disc. Trout Mask Replica. Unfortunately, I did sit through 'Pet Sounds' on the many recommendations of it's 'classic' status

Well thanks Guy, but I know you're all busy fellas. I wouldn't ask that of any of you. So that's why I've just come back from a 120 mile round trip with a selection of discs from somewhere I knew they were cheap-ish and in stock. I went for In Europe, Four & More, My Funny Valentine & In Berlin They also had the Seven Steps & Tokyo albums but with the help here and my logic (wanting to have Wayne's entry point into the band plus prioritising Coleman's tenure over the River's and Feldman bands) I stuck with those four for now. The others can come later. And I also picked up Dexter's One Flight Up for a fiver. Even if it is CP Thanks guys.

In the UK you can have sex, have kids, get married (in that order if you want), join the army, smoke twenty ciggies a day all at 16. Driving and voting are no-no's though
