  1. My vote is solely on turf. If it was fake stuff I'd give it to the Eagels but ... Super Turf.
  2. ah, I see. For a moment I thought this after hours club was up on top of the twentieth floor. I bet, it is even possible to make it into something like "what's going down up in here..." which would be synonymous to "what's up down here..." right? the mind boggles. cue those alternate takes on Fucshia Swing Song
  3. and lest we not forget ebonics.
  4. Alas, Johnson's design might have looked like this and then everyone would be able to see your CDs! same for Pei, although his might be so jaggedy that upper registers from your loudspeakers would get stuck in the corners and never be heard from again.
  5. Hey wait a minute!! I gotta call the school ... that looks like MY daughter!
  6. now that's an art studio! thanks for posting, mike.
  7. Googling the Grail- Dick Cary: Bill Crow "Scenes from a Jazz Life"
  8. "Templeton the Rat" from Charlotte's Web. The only image I could find confirms Al's theories!
  9. check out this shot from Hull, MA that was online!!!
  10. during and after shots around the house.
  11. Gots about 30" up here in Cape Ann, MA. Swirling ocean effect stuffand still blowing now! Shoveling was not as bad as "throwing" the load over top of the now 4 foot walls that line my driveway! It does look Martha Stewart pretty tho. My neighbor's Trans Am is completely covered. Just think if that Jets kicker had a bit more poop last week!
  12. Nice shots Chris! Thanks for sharing all this beautiful work. wow, he's 50 keys wide! Is that a David Stone Martin cover? I'd pick it up just for that!
  13. Exactly! The minute I saw that photo, that tune ran through my head: "Trans-FORM-ers more than MEETS the eye" yes, professional help is a must now! brings me back to the mid-eighties Hasbro days. you guys actually played with those. god, am I old!!!
  14. Didn't I wish! Tim Biskup!!! RDK's man!!
  15. ... or at least stick to totem poles like everyone else up there!
  16. As great as he may be he is even made fun of here in the icy north. He runs this team like an executor with absolute emotional detachment. I believe the Brown's fans feelings might be just a mid-westerner thing. Lot's of emotional detachment up here on the east coast and Belichick is perfectly suited to it. He works for a razor and battery company fer god sake! Now when it all comes down he will go down as a great coach cause he made the bottom line like a scientist. Them days of Lombardi, Ditka and even Cower are what folks will remember. So, Go Browns! and I'm still bitter about Modell and he'll be rembered for that silly numeral typeface on the Ravens' jerseys.
  17. SS1... New Avatar! found this old patch - 40 years? - in a box. used to have this on a sweatshirt when I was a kid.
  18. Here's a question for you in the know: that audiophile guy's thesis linked in the iPod thread defaults to a sample rate of "AAC 224kbit/sec". So just how many minutes of music will this iShuffle hold at that rate?
  19. Anyone (Guy?) heard the re-issue or original of 'Les Felins' - LALO SCHIFRIN that just came about. I have only heard the title cut "Joy House", not to be confused w/ the Jimmy Smith Verve hit "The Cat".
  20. Probably Bill Sienkiewicz's best work, next to his Moby Dick, IMO!!!
  21. i have an extra booklet from the box set w/ liners by dowd, etc... it's a bit off register as some of the pages have the type bleeding off the edges. pm me if it's needed.
  22. found this! please translate!
