  1. "Light Made Lighter" was outstanding. have you heard his first trio disc on DIW?
  2. for $19.96 delivered to the door i'd say the jimmy smith retro might be one. now i know this comp thing ain't for all, but four discs with liners chock full of photos and side four coming at ya in a glorious remastering of just some of the essentialist chicken shack / midnight special grease can't be a bad deal. add to that any of the ojc's in k-2.
  3. couw yer a sick pup - grammatically correct but still ....
  4. Kirk's "Laugh for Rory". Even put that on a comp when the kids were little. That chuckle at the intro is a smile.
  5. Thherrendipity!
  6. Thanks Big Al! A beauty of a BFT to come back to and provide further investimentigation. Really, what can go wrong with a disc from Texas with a Daffy intro?
  7. I'd like to see the first one in just a pipe and a sweater to make sure.
  8. my mother-in-law is paying someone $15.00 an hour to help clear her clutter. the woman will be a millionaire when it's all thru. so why is it that i don't get squat when i go over to take out the trash!?
  9. boy i used to act like i my virgo sign but seem to have lost my lineage to the stars along the way and can answer yes to most here. but ask me to find something in my clutter and i will pull it out of the messy hat instantaneously. i think there is some place in Texas you can go to become a born again virgo.
  10. thought i would post the real un-edited picture here:
  11. re:chaney link site not an iPod user but a mac rookie. the meat of that site is this i believe. i could only read a little bit before my head hurt.
  12. curious if the new $4.99 pp has something to do with it? i had ordered a couple from the cart @ $5.99 last month as christrmas presents and all were received fast. now that I am using the $4.99 ticket i get nothing but this- "The first three items listed in your Music Queue are currently on backorder. Since we are unable to ship any of your Music Queue picks at this time, we will not charge your credit card for this month. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you are enjoying your subscription to yourmusic.com. Thank you, yourmusic.com"

  16. hey it sez "everyday italian". so where's the moustache?
  17. Forest Cafe? Some Harvard yuppie joint? absotutely not. just the best real live south of the border chow (yet i have not been in a couple years but the best IMO these days is Cafe Azteca in Lawrence right by the courthouse and closer to Kevin). half of the Forest was an Irish bar, split right down the middle long ways. Yuppie must be the Border Cafe your thinking of. just don't let Joe Christmas know.
  18. at leat they show you your pennance before it starts! that brain site is like going into the back room at the studio here where i know all the lyrics to all the hideous music on the radio. today... billy joel...
