  1. Hey....we've had to deal with the "Laker Corner" thread for the past year.....it's time for this thing to end! Who started that thing anyway ???
  2. ....cool with me! Quality is the key with me....I'd rather pay more for something nice....I'd probably pass if the quality were low! As I mentioned before, a see-through shirt on me may not be what people want to see !
  3. ...a bargain at twice the price !
  4. ...I would agree that Rasheed has gotten away with a few of his tantrums. In the Indiana series, he threw a fit, stormed 20 rows up the aisle, moaing and bitchin' the whole way and nothing . That said, I hope the Pistons kick the Laker's asses in the next and final game of the season B) !
  5. The hundred bucks is to make sure no one orders one. the final cost will be no where near that expensive. Bill, What would be your best guess as to the actual unit cost, or are will still too far away to determine? $20.00-$30.00??? Mark
  6. Dmitry, Nope, not dissapointed at all. I didn't buy them as an investment but experienced turntable issues that have never been resolved, so I never played them. Not strapped for cash either, so may hold on to them if there isn't much interest here. I'm bought many things off Ebay but have never attempted to sell anything. Thanks to all for your input, Mark
  7. I saw a Miles set with a "buy now price of $349.00 on it but didn't see a Tina Brooks. I'm not looking to retire off of these, just want to get a fair price for them. Mark
  8. I'm thinking of parting with my Miles Plugged Nickel and Tina Brooks Mosaid LP sets and a CD set of Blue Mitchell. The LP sets have never been played, include the book and box and are in mint condition. The Mitchell cd set has been played but is in great shape. I'm not sure what the value is as it's rare that I sell anything like this. Any thoughts on the value??? Thanks, Mark
  9. That's his normal shot !
  10. Offer them in white, black and grey! I prefer grey or white but there seem to be a few fans of black also. Let's get this thing rollin'!!! Mark
  11. No shit. Look at the caption on this picture from today's online New York Times: George Wein, above, a titan of jazz festivals Source: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/06/11/arts/music/11JAZZ.html George looks a little different from the last time I saw him!
  12. Liked black when I was a young rebel ....prefer white or gray now!
  13. Put me down for two xxl's. Got to allow for the shrink and one for when I wear out the first one! Mark
  14. Rachel, I have your cell and I'll PM you mine. See you there! Mark
  15. ...working around the house a little, maybe swing by The Jazz Kitchen for a bit tomorrow night to see David Young (yeah, that David Young). I'm sure I'll see Rachel at the Jazz Fest next weekend! Mark

  17. The Indy Jazz Fest begins a week from tonight (6/18) in downtown Indy. Three days of music!!!
  18. I'm sure you're right about that, but I wouldn't mind having the option to purchase a couple of the cheapies for a lady or two. ...amen, brother!
  19. Picked it up an hour ago (with my Borders coupon) and have it spinnin' right now. Haven't heard enough of it yet to really give a review, but it sounds pretty good....I never get enough of Blakey (or Morgan)!
  20. couw, Nice job on the art! Now let's make sure they get put on high quality shirts....no one wants to see my nipples on a hot, steamy day . Mark
