  1. There's supposed to be a copy at my local public library. Maybe I'll check it out, literally.

  5. But just how much gravy is on that train? That is the question. A lot, my friend. Enough to last a lifetime. Wow. Maybe they should call it Gravy Warehouse.

    Moby Grape

It never struck me as an album that would come off well live, but now you've piqued my interest.
  7. Just one of many reasons to love that film. Indeed. The Dude abides, man. And I've got to admit, the Eagles have never even appeared on my radar. Didn't they have some hits way back, like in the 70's?
  8. Careful they don't get mold.

  10. I almost never read Clem's posts. They just seem like an indecipherable spray of words with little or no punctuation.
  11. I always wondered how much better Floyd Horsecollar Williams could have played without that darned heavy collar. We won't even mention Willis Jackson's unfortunate gator tail.

    Moby Grape

Moby Grape are supposed to be playing in Golden Gate Park tomorrow.
  13. This "20% of Americans can't locate the U.S. on a world map" sounds like claptrap. Let's think of what it means. It means that literally 60 million US citizens can't locate their own country on a map. Right. I think whoever came up with this was being kidded by the vast majority of respondants. But apparently they don't want to just throw away their absurd results, so they put them out to get a big media flap.
  14. Oh what a tangle web we weave, when first we---have lots of spiders.....weaving.
  15. I wonder how much better he would have played if he could have moved his jaw.
  16. In fact, I got it when it came out. It's very good.
  17. They've had Cyrus Chestnut, Bobby Hutcherson, Bud Shank with Phil Woods, and Benny Golson. Not bad.
  18. I have the Buck & Buddy album, and like it. I'm beginning to think I need more.
  19. Kenny Dorham is the king! (Uncrowned, perhaps, but still the king.)
  20. Yes, my goal is to relax so much at work that I go into a coma.
  21. What do you think?
  22. At the end of Crumb he and his family are getting ready to move from the central valley of California to France, but I think you're talking about a different film.
  23. As far as I can tell...no.
  24. One word, my friend: DISINFECTANT... Yeah, I always disinfect those bacteria-laden books.
