Another reason to root for the Pats.
BTW, I hated the logo change too and somehow doubted whether they were still the same football team I've cheered for since the 70s.
I may never forgive the Pats.
Seriously, it should be a great game. May the best team win!
It's unnatural to have football enemies outside your own division, Noj.
If I were you guys, I'd focus on the Chiefs and Chargers and Broncks.
Damn it all ss1!
$40!!
I admire your courage, but $40?
If you win brother, buy yourself some of those essential Jimmy Smith cds still missing from your portfolio. B-)
Go Pats!
I'm going for the Pats though I didn't vote.
Everybody already knows who I would pick anyway.
I think we'll see Richard Seymour out there today. Pats strategy will be to jump out to a big lead if possible in order to take the running game away from Pittsburgh. Force Big Ben to put it up in the air. Rodney Harrison will come up to help stop the run. Maybe two tight end sets to help out blocking the Pittsburgh linebackers. I think we've got to get some kind of a pass rush from the outside linebackers, Willie Mcginnest, Mike Vrabel and Roosevelt Colvin.
Watch the special teams unit as well. Pats will try to gain yardage on punt and kick returns.
Steelers are tuff!
Hang in there everybody in the East coast!
The storm has passed us now. Toledo got perhaps a foot or so, but Cleveland took it harder I believe. They've got the lake effect.
What's the toll in Michigan, guys?
Inside or outside the prison?
Cute.
Although the prison is about an 8th of a mile from here, on the other side of Rt. 1, it isn't in Rahway and it's named East Jersey State Prison.
There is no Rahway State Prison. Who changed that? I think he's a neighbor too.
Damn that's awfully close to residences, no?
I remember they used to televise some boxing matches out of "Rahway." Seemed like a rough place. Is it a maximum security prison?
Hey, I know you're joking, but seriously... TAKE IT EASY, everybody!!!
I'm okay Maren, thanks!
Just finished and it wasn't too bad. Light stuff was on top. Damn, it's cold out there though.
Maybe it's time for people named "Connoisseur Series" to start pulling their weight as well...
Guy
Okay Guy.
I'll let all you guys know what's coming if you let us know the new burgers coming out from McDonalds next year.
I want to clean my driveway, but if I do, I'll have to do it all again by the evening. And if I can't clean my driveway, I'm not going anywhere today.
Thank God it isn't a work day.
Going overboard, Beri.
I think Chris criticisms of Burns' documentaries are quite valid.
I consider Bursn to be highly talented if singleminded. Chris merely points out ways in which they could have improved on the presentation. I happen to agree with him. I don't care for the use of Marsalis compositions; and I don't think it appropriate that Crouch provides such a prominent scholarly voice. There are a lot of boxing experts who could have been consulted.
I also think the series, though very enjoyable, leans heavily towards a particular point of view. I see little balance there.
I feel the same way.
However, I have never heard "Contrasts" or "Heaven and Earth"
"Of Love and Peace" is weak for sure.
Not so sure I want to hear the above two after being disappointed with OLAP.
