  1. I, for one, welcome...oh, never mind; that line's as stale as a mastadon...
  2. Yeah, if only Moose could have lived long enough to see this...
  3. Huh? Can you explain that one? Fifty bucks on "no"...
  4. I prefer Eaters of the Dead, but interesting writer. I can't comment too much on him without getting the thread moved to the political forum, so I'll shut up...
  5. Tootsie Little Big Man Ben Braddock
  6. Omigod...Allen's gonna turn this into another "horizontal vs vertical" thread and confuse the hell out of me! But I agree. At this point, I see eBay as a great idea that ran it's course...
  7. Could be worse; I've never been into Metallica and doubt I ever will be...
  8. Too much, too soon, apparently...
  9. Could I interest you in a high-speed DVD rewinder? No batteries needed!
  10. Which, of course, buyers never do.
  11. I agree with Hot Ptah in that this board let's me know how ignorant about jazz I really am. On the other hand, it only takes one post to clue me to the fact that I know a hell of a lot more about jazz than whatever Turandot is...
  12. I'd sooner go back to that "Day in Harlem" board. At least the rules there were silly interesting rather than silly stupid...
  13. Damn...
  14. I was looking at the cover to this CD the other day and finally figured out why the band looks so depressed...they're sitting in a bar and a news ticker behind them is announcing "Beer To Go". Damn!
  15. Your percentage only covers the last twelve months now.
  16. Festus Kitty Marshall Dillon
  17. $2.76 here. But I've been told that we're always high here. Kind of an isolated area with only one distributor. Monopoly is fun to play, not so fun to live...
  18. Yeah, that was pretty nasty, wasn't it?
  19. Speaking from experience, I can tell you that Brotzmann can make a strong neighbor beg!
  20. Good lord. Comparing Madonna to grunge or punk is just plain weird. That's like being in a conversation about jazz and piping up with "well, I like that Kenny G guy..."
  21. Leon Russell Kurt Russell Rosalind Russell
  22. You can be snooty about the rest, but you should be embarrassed about "Clerks" since that was kind of an early 90s phenom. That's like missing out on "Resevoir Dogs" when it came out. Or not being into Grunge. It was part of the Zeitgeist of the era. Edited for misspelling "Zeitgeist," which I can't believe I did. I think one can refuse to be embarrassed to have had the good sense and taste not to have been into Grunge. Damn. Well, at least I'm on the right side with Reservoir Dogs...
  23. Or, if things get really bad, Randissinomo...
