I must admit I drink Diet Coke at work and when eating out (you know, the burger-and-fries type meals), but after tasting this new Splenda version, count me out. It's the Diet Coke version of the New Coke debacle...

High school graduation was thirty years ago, and I haven't made a reunion yet. I don't know, but it seems to me that (at least in my class) the people who would be most likely to go to a reunion would be exactly the ones I'd have no interest in seeing. Besides, it would probably involve hearing the Carpenter's We've Only Just Begun (our class song) again, and I'm pretty sure my immunizations are outdated...
I liked the first, loved the second, hated the third. As for the new ones, I figure if I was past it by the third of the first trilogy, why bother this time around?
As for reading, I just finished Ever Since Darwin, a collection of essays by Stephen Jay Gould that I highly recommend for non-science majors like myself. Entertaining and educational.
