  1. Recently watched The first one is narrated by Liam Neeson and won awards and the second one is an Irish production and is partially in Gaelic.
  2. That may be but it was not released until 1999 so BN may have thought it would have limited appeal.

    Joe Wilder

    Some fine playing.
  4. I have Drums Around the Corner and listened to it once. I have never cared for albums that are drum centered, which probably explains why I only listened to Drums once and never bought the others. I don’t have the same reaction to bass centered records though. Perhaps it’s time to re listen to Drums.

    Kenny Burrell

Katherine Burrell sent out the following update this morning: Given my caregiving hours, and business matters that require attention, I have regrettably been delayed in responding to each donor/donation. I promise, I will respond to each and every one as time allows! Thank you so much! Blessings to all of you. All our love. ❤️
  6. I didn’t see the whole game so I’m sure you’re right but there will always be calls that people are not happy with in any sport; just part of the game.
  7. That’s the best kind. It’s a contact sport, after all.
  8. Surprisingly, the Bucks may be in trouble. However, if Toronto doesn’t close it out on Saturday, I don’t think they will win again in Milwaukee.
  9. Maybe but their designs were of high quality unlike the terrible stamps we see today.
  10. That had occurred to me also.
  11. It’s just a rumor, and he has firmly denied he’s leaving City.
  12. Part of the problem is that the show had outrun the books. Martin has been working on the next to last book in the series for 8 years (Robert Caro territory); he has been involved in other projects which have probably contributed to the delay. However, he implied on his website today that it should be out in 2020. He won’t start on the last one until he’s done with this one, which makes sense.
  13. Here's an example of the quality US stamps used to have.
  14. Sounds like my story. I collected when I was a kid and typed up my own pages with the stamp description, etc. Stopped years ago but couldn’t sell the collection. Just no value anymore. Stamps used to be beautiful works of art. Now, the designs are shlock.
  15. How about they’re rebuilding Kings Landing do fast: looked pretty good in the last few scenes.
  16. That will never happen. They did lose a bundle on Madoff but I think that may be behind them. Unfortunately, Jeff Wilpon, Fred's son, who oversees baseball operations meddles too much. They spend money but not wisely.
  17. It wasn’t very good. Here’s a funny article from Esquire. 56 Questions We Need Answered After the Game of Thrones Finale
  18. Warriors are just too tough. They almost play better without Durant.
  19. As usual it’s mayhem in Mets land. Signing Céspedes was the biggest waste of money. Since 2016 he’s hardly played. The manager is simply awful but the Mets have chosen to cast their lot with him. A well run organization they are not.
  20. His books about the war in Virginia from 1864 on are considered classics; I've only read one of them.
  21. Have you ever read any Gordon Rhea. He’s a fantastic campaign writer. You might enjoy him.
  22. That and real football!
  23. I’m guessing it was that inexpensive because of the government medical system. The USA is a different story. A few years ago my wife, who does not have good teeth, had implants and who knows what else. Our dental insurance covered a small portion but the rest was very expensive. Ate up a good share of my bonus that year.
  24. What's the best book on Bill Evans out there? Is it the Pettinger book?
