  2. Just finished this terrific book.
  3. I picked up the Wald book too and am enjoying it. I am also on a Dylan binge. I’ve also been listening to https://abobdylanprimer.com, a podcast devoted to Dylan, although I think the host is a wee bit over the top.
  4. How did you like it. I thought it was terrific. Might go see it again this week.
  5. I stopped reading him a couple of years ago. He just goes on and on. Same here. Never had any interest. If I need to look something up, I will go to YT. I have several Substack subscriptions but maybe one or two are paying. No way I’m paying for the rest. Some Substack writers seem to indulge in long posts to justify their subscriber fee. I’m constantly cutting and adding new ones. They’re all chasing a $.
  6. Recently finished Valley of Tears, about the Yom Kippur War.
  7. Same to everyone!
  8. Yes, it’s Onyx.
  9. My condolences Dan.
  10. Thanks all. I have the Roost material. Will pass on this.
  11. Is anyone familiar with this three record set from Audio Fidelity. They are audio recordings from NY spots like the Royal Roost. If you are, how’s the sound?
  12. I’m sure it did as it does for all Jews from that era but it’s an odd thing to say in liner notes.
  13. Strange.
  14. Terrific stuff. Thanks for posting this Dan.
  15. about 2/3 way through. I’d say it’s on a level with his James, which was one of the best books I read this year.
