On the BBC they reported that he had re-constituted the Board and they had voted against the sale, and when the reporter pointed out that he wasn't allowed to do that per his agreements, his retort was that what lawyers and courts are for

Didn't see the Larsen game but Halladay was pretty unbelievable. Sort of understand the point Dave made but it's still the playoffs, not to mention this is his second no hitter this year. That puts him in pretty rarified territory.

The announcers in the Yankee game are pitiful. Ron Darling is wasted with the likes of Ernie Johnson and John Smoltz; they are just terrible.

I'm sure that Selig or the networks want additional play-in games as it delays the actual playoffs.

Looks like the Braves are in serious trouble: Pods have won and Braves are getting shut out. I'm not sure how this works but if Pods and Braves win tomorrow, Giants and Padres play in a playoff and loser plays Braves for Wild Card. Not 100 per cent sure about that however.

Giants and Braves still have the advantage but if Giants win today and Braves lose again, it could get dicey for the Braves.
