  4. ive gone over this topic at length w/ bob cranshaw, here is the definitive answer: bob brought his electric bass to stanley turrentines rough n tumble session, beacuse stanley turrentine asked him to. he wasnt playing electric on the hank date he did two weeks prior, because it was a different sort of session, more traditional so to say

  8. i have a pink island of it, not that that improves anything SQ-wise, but i do. it was recorded onto a cassette in a little van-studio out in the lot. rolling stones mobile it was not. it turns into pure noise rock at some points and the low-fi nature of the recording actually adds to the overall presentation of what theyre doing.
