  1. This thread has turned into what box set are you fearing to be lost in the mail.
  2. Jazzlab, very good set ending up with a very long suite, nice evening out.
  3. They finally replied, a replacement is coming.
  4. My status, well I'm sitting looking at my PC, do you need something else ?

  5. Not exactly all jazz but currently alternating with these lately Great times
  6. They have the stronger chances no doubt but Lyon is not completely dead a 1-0 at Barnabeu can still be thinkable although unlikely , Copenhagen on the other hand, allowing a two away goals and having to score at least two goals in Stamford Bridge just to keep things even well there is a better chance of Adriana Lima ringing at my door to watch today's game with yours truly.
  7. On a previous communication with them, they told me it was shipped january the 21st, I ordered it the 13th.
  8. You can pencil in Chelsea for the Quarters.
  9. Among those who have ordered it, have you received it, still waiting for mine, wrote them saturday, have not been answered To quote Led Zed Its been a long time, been a long time, Been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time.
  10. As I mentionned earlier I did receive it and it's the real McCoy (although it's still Oscar on piano) , it's just shipping problems nothing to do with the seller.
  11. +1 Does she need to progress , yes ! Will she , only the future will tell, meanwhile let's appreciate it, same way we're thrilled here for Arcade Fire despite thinking the album they did was probably the weakest one. Not to derail this thread, but perhaps to show how opinions differ, but I find The Suburbs to be AF's best album by far. Maybe it was because I grew up in the 'burbs, but that record really speaks to me. I would say that my opinion is in the minority, I know that The Suburbs were hailed by mostly everyone who follow Indy music, Neon Bible that I actually liked is considered the weakest of the three LP
  12. In terms of glamour Roma-Shakhtar was probably the less interesting matchup this week in Champions League but it turned out to be the best game of them all. Kudos to Arsenal for keeping in check Barcelona without using the dreaded let's put all our players in the penality box strategy. One thing for sure, it will be two interesting return games
  13. +1 Does she need to progress , yes ! Will she , only the future will tell, meanwhile let's appreciate it, sme way we're thrilled gere for Arcade Fire despite thinking the album they did was probably the weakest one.
  14. Watched the football game between AC Milan and Tottenham and an ice hockey game broke out, what did the AC Milan players take during halftime,Gattuso should get a lenghty suspension for his behaviour.
  15. It's basically the mailman who screwed up, talked to a lady at the postal office, seems they are a lot of complains about packages not received .
  16. As I reported in the UK shipping thread, received mine today, my estimate is that I should have put my hands on it last week but the shipping notice never made it to my mailbox, a last warning actually arrived yesterday
  17. Finally received the Mosaic OP from the UK, problem was not from there but from my mailman who never let me any shipping notice, had finally one mentionning it was my last warning, so I guess the first slip should have been received last week.
  18. The guy is mostly in what you could call straight ahead jazz, that's his choice, if you don't like it go somewhere else, he's not the first jazz or music fan to be on the narrowminded side, I agree he seems a bit of a tat but I guess he feels strongly about the music of his liking. Personnally I like to be all over the place, but that's my thing ain't forcing to take the ride with yours truly
  19. Best wishes, broke my elbow once only fun part was the physiotherapist during the healing process
  20. Congrats to the Packers, we had the chance to win it in the two last minutes but we failed miserably, lack of communication on two plays during the last drive. Other poor choice was going for the long field goal, woould have prefer to punt the ball and try to pin the Packers deep instead of going for the three points with an unreliable kicker. Packers made the big plays three turnovers which all had a big impact on the game and they did it despite loosing key players like Woodson, ama Steelers fans but gotta say I'm happy to see a city like Green Bay being able to be host of the best football team of the NFL, have fun Cheeseheads.
  21. Tonight Christine Jensen on alto sax with George Colligan on piano with Fraser Hollins on bass with a fourth member to be named later
  22. Nothing from yours truly but a friend of mine who I gave the tip already received it.
  23. When I read the line somewhere else it just said Maria Schneider dies and I thought of the conductor, although I'm less familiar and emotively connected with her it still is sad...RIP
  24. My order has been made the 13th, if I have yet to receive any news until the weekend will communicate with them, has anyone of you had any experience with Rhino's customer service.I suppose I have to take account that I live outside the country.
  25. still waiting here in NY.....sure would be nice to have to listen to during the one-two snowstorm punch headed our way..... Made it yesterday. Mine was packaged in an oversized box with some extra cardboard and air cushioning. But I'm confused. Is this the "desired" Japanese set? The CDs all have OBIs and the sleeves say they are manufactured in Japan. I listened quickly to Zep 1 on a small stereo in the kitchen and it sounded very detailed. I heard John Bonham in a new way. I know there was some discussion about the difference in mastering. Still waiting for mine
