  1. There are two bonus tracks on the US version of Mustang, earlier recordings of "Gingerbread Boy" and "I'm So Excited By You" with a different lineup, I think Jimmy Heath is on that version if memory serves.
  2. I love her!
  3. Glad to see Griff was able to live in such a nice place.
  4. Hope everyone gets through safely!
  5. Cremate me, mix me in with some good Indica and let my friends do bong hits in my memory.
  6. I work at a Korean hotel and heard this song prior to it going global on youtube. It gets played at just about every wedding, usually with the groom and his posse doing all the dance moves. It was funny at first but I've heard it WAY too many damn times.
  7. Happy Birthday from Bill, Geezer, Ozzy, Tony....and me!
  8. I basically mirror most of what you said. The first half of the film is the best part, once the inevitable villain enters I lost interest. Emma Stone was under-utilized, she's better than average but wasn't given nearly enough to do. The romantic aspect is actually the part that interested me the most, too bad it lost screen time to the overblown CGI. The film felt rushed, too many aspects were quickly mentioned and then discarded to keep it rocketing along at a fast pace, but I think they lost a great deal of the detail necessary to make it work. Raimi's Spiderman works because it took the necessary time needed to tell the story effectively.
  9. I became an instant Junior Mance fan the first time I heard his solo on "Light And Lovely" from the Lockaw/Griffin album "The Tenor Scene". Have several of his albums as a leader and thoroughly enjoy them all.
  10. The last track was my favorite the first time through the album, need to listen again.
  11. I really enjoyed the album, I thought it sounded okay but that's hard to judge streaming. The material was alot bouncier and more lively than Morph The Cat, playing is superb throughout.
  12. That is standard for any show on the CW network, easily the most image-conscious of them all. The cast of Vampire Diaries are essentially perfect genetic specimens, no way that many great looking people could possibly all live in one small town...but since the show is supernatural based it kind of adds to the overall otherworldly atmosphere. Speaking of supernatural, the show Supernatural (also on the CW) for the past 8 seasons has paraded an almost mind-boggling assortment of babes in guest spots...I think they are growing them in a lab somewhere in the San Fernando Valley. Katie Cassidy (main actress on Arrow) had a recurring role on Supernatural for awhile.
  13. Oh I definitely agree to a point, people want to look at attractive people on TV, you see not-so-attractive people on the street everyday. TV stars tend to be "ideals". I do believe it is possible to be great looking and also be a great actor. The average looking actors get the character roles on US TV, but seldom the lead.
  14. These days I'm liking "electric" in general, the early fusion stuff (before it wimped out) floats my boat nicely at this point in time.
  15. I've seen the first 2 episodes and found it quite enjoyable. It's quite different than the PBS series so I didn't compare them back to back. I also had no problems with them casting Lucy Lui as Watson...I think she's mature enough not to get dismissed as just a "babe" at this point in her career.
  16. I'd go the opposite direction, I like when guitar replaces piano entirely. Creates a unique sound that helps set it apart from most groups.
  17. Pretending no songs exist outside "The Great American Songbook".
  18. Listening to it on Spotify now, enjoying it so far.
  19. I think Donald is a major talent, he has become one of my favorites over the past several years. I tend to prefer his albums with Steely Dan to his solo work, but there is always something that peaks my interest.
  20. Like the one with the guy in a corridor lined with razor blades. Yeah, a memorable sequence. What I like about these Amicus films is they do a great job of capturing the feel of old anthology horror stories, the simplest terrors are still often the best and the most entertaining. I might have to pull out From Beyond The Grave and Asylum sometime over the next week.
  21. Tales From The Crypt (Freddie Francis - 1972) A favorite of mine when I was a kid.
  22. Saw the previews for that while watching The Vampire Diaries, it didn't look promising. There are many more beautiful women than there are good shows to put them in.
  23. The pilot for Hunted was excellent! Really looking forward to the rest of the series. Tonight watched the season 4 premiere of The Vampire Diaries.
